Applying Lustre class with Fran Maguire

Service Description

During this 2 hour pop-up course Fran Maguire will demonstrate and teach you how to apply lustre (in this case gold) to a finished piece of pottery to give it that wow factor. Lustre is applied to glazed work, then fired at a low temperature. You will need to bring a glazed piece or two to decorate as well as a fine clean brush (no dust) and a small dust free cloth (such as an old handkerchief). The course cost includes tuition, the use of the lustre and firing fee. Suitable for all levels of experience. You just need a glazed piece to work on.
