Service Description
In this pop-up workshop Frank Graham will demonstrate and discuss the throwing and making techniques for larger forms. The aim is to enable you to create new forms larger than you are making at the moment. If you can throw a cylinder or bowl to a very modest height then you can makes pots two or three times larger. Throwing larger amounts of clay, making larger forms using the section method and the coil and throw method. Also altering thrown forms. Some hand out notes will be given plus examples and references to view. After this if you are having a go and have further questions Frank will be at the pottery club nights and is always happy to help. Open for anyone to attend from beginners to the more experienced, everyone will come out of this workshop inspired and keen to experiment.
